Samways Cycles – From Shop to Workshop
Cyclists across Derbyshire know all about the family firm of Samways Cycles who have been in business for over 80 years. One of the unique features of the company is that they fit every bike to every rider in their specialist workshop. They are so proud of this service that you can’t just go online and buy a bike from them – you have to go and get it fitted. Everyone has a different body and requirements so they believe that the bicycle you ride should be adjusted and fitted just for you.
Recently Mark Watkins from Luck Design Agency has been working with Samways to rebrand the shop and website and I got to go along and spend a morning taking some very specific images for the website of the shop, the staff and in the workshop. Kate Samways was on hand to organise the layout of the shop and show me round. I particularly enjoyed seeing behind the scenes in the workshop. It was obvious that everyone at Samways really cares about bikes and the riders who take them out. So if you are serious about you cycling get along to Samways now!
