Jackie Thompson Couture – Bridal Shoot

A few weeks back I thought that I ought to get some new bridal images done for 2011 so I looked around to find a couture bridal wear outlet and came across the delightful Jackie Thompson who is based in Derby and produces wonderful bespoke bridal wear for the discerning bride.  I approached Jackie with the idea of photographing some of her outfits in a different way; more fashion than bridal in approach.  Luckily Jackie was kind enough to loan some of her work and suggested model, Georgina Stokes, to wear the outfits.  I then contacted the lovely Laura Harrison to work on the make-up and we all got together one Saturday morning at the studio.

Laura did a great job on giving Georgina a very stylish bridal look while I set about putting together some studio ideas.  Three outfit changes and a walk outside and we had captured some images that I was really pleased with.  Some of those are here for you now:
