When Andy Smith, web designer from Out of the Blue, asked if I might like to photograph welding, laser cutting and sheet metal bending I said yes – even before I knew who the job was for or where! MDJ Manufacturing are a long established metal fabricators working mostly in steel and aluminium making high-end components to exacting standards. Among other things their work helps to keep the Wimbledon courts and Premier League pitches looking good as they make the parts for the machines. Everyone at MDJ was very proud of the work they do and gave me a wonderful day of exciting photography.
