Kerri Pratt – Fine Artist

I do like working with fine artists!  Kerri Pratt is a painter who has a building reputation and is the current holder of  the biennial £18,000 Jonathan Vickers Fine Art Award, one of the biggest in the country. The award is intended to bring a rising artist to Derbyshire to produce work inspired by the county’s landscape, heritage and people.  I have know Kerri since my days as a resident at Banks’ Mill Studios.  As part of getting ready for a new exhibition of her work Kerri needed some “action” shot in her studio at Banks’ Mill.  Along I went and captured her surrounded by her striking landscapes.  These images have now been used as supporting material for her exhibitions.
