Shed 2 Studios – I have moved in!

Exactly a year after leaving Banks’ Mill Studios I am now a resident of Shed 2 Studios in Ilkeston, just down the hill from where I live.  I am so excited to be back in a permanent home where I can continue to experiment and work.  Shed 2 Studios is a collective of artists sharing a space together.

Founded in 2007 by a group of graduates from the 3D Sustainable Design and Practice program at Derby University, Shed 2 Studios has grown in strength and is looking to become one of the leading centres for creating contemporary Art and Design in the area.

So far the lights are in the backdrops up on a shelf and there is daylight through the arched window. Still to come are the wooden floor and surrounding curtains!  Make a date for a visit sometime – you will be most welcome 🙂
