Photographing Fine Art Sculptor Shyama Perera

Something that I have done quite a bit of is photographing the work of 2D and 3D artists; painters and sculptors for example.  One of these is Shyama Perera and her bone china collection, “Unus Multorum”.  The idea was to capture these delicate pieces so that they could be used for business cards and postcards to promote Shyama’s work.  I went to her to do this as the pieces are rather delicate and moving them to the studio would have been  asking for trouble!  Shyama is delighted with the results, and you can see a couple of examples here:
