I have just created a blog for the very first time so I have a place that I can let you know some of what goes on in my photographic world.


The highlight of the past week had to be photographing Joan Rivers!  I was booked by Derbyshire based jewellers, C W Sellors to cover their ‘Christmas Wishes’ event at Chatsworth House on Bonfire Night.  This was a fabulous affair with an amazing range of jewellery to se and buy, including a £500,000 diamond necklace to try on.  


Nearing the end of the evening I was tapped on the shoulder by a security guard who suggested that I should be taking pictures of Joan Rivers – I thought he was joking, but no, there she was right behind me.  Apparently she was on The Graham Norton Show that evening (recorded the night before) and was ‘just passing’ so decided to drop in.  


I took some photos of her there enjoying the event and there is a story in the local Asbourne Telegraph using some of these.


Since then I tweeted Joan Rivers directly and hopefully the images will appear on her facebook pages soon!

Meantime her is a pic of her from the event sat on Santa’s knee…
